I'm blogging on my new iPhone! Here are some pictures I took on the phone and what we have been up to lately.
Laying by the pool. 70 degrees.
New restaurant called Tom's Thumb Fresh Market. It is inside a classy full service gas station in classy Scottsdale. The Mac n Cheese in a skillet and James' pulled pork burger with sweet potato fries was delish!
Then we went to the Scottsdale Arabian horse show. It was fun to see the horse competitions. If only my allergies didn't get the best of me!
We hosted family home evening at our place. Such cute kiddos!
I found my favorite childhood valentines book! It's called Valentine Foxes by Clyde Watson.
James and I love going to Paradise Bakery Cafe!
I went to my good friend Jessica's baby shower! She is part of our medical school wives group.
We had a lovely dinner hosted by our friend Ayda who is in James' class. She made delicious food including a Persian roulette (roll cake). Our Persian neighbor Parisa also joined us! Oh and it was windy outside so Ayda lit her fireplace for us!
We were able to watch the Gilbert temple dedication. It was wonderful.
James started a new rotation--urgent care in downtown Phoenix. So far he likes it!
I was able to visit my dear coworker Sue to see her month old baby Arbela! So sweet.
James made me breakfast in bed! Sweetie hubby.
We went to a spring training baseball game! I was "rooting" for the Texas rangers even though the Dodgers were the home team. It was a neat experience and James found an autographed baseball under his seat! What are the chances?
After the game we went to Grimaldis pizza for the first time...seriously.so.good.
The next day was a beautiful day to go to the temple. We went to Mesa and it was less crowded on a Saturday morning because the Gilbert temple just opened! We will have to go sometime soon.
After the temple we went to Costa Vida for lunch. This was my first time experiencing the food and I really liked it!
We explored Barnes and Noble and found a treasured childhood book of mine (on the right) and James also loved the book (on the left).
We headed to Rex's 2nd birthday party! The theme was trucks! So cute. We love that little man. We miss him and Than and Ixchel. Thanks for a great party!
He loved the t-ball set we gave him!
We love having iPhones. We have had a great few weeks! Until next time!
