Pregnancy Announcement Story
In August 2018, James and Chelsea were exploring the quaint coastal New England town of Rockport, Massachusetts when the doctor called with Chelsea's blood test results. Her hCG level confirmed a very positive pregnancy! They were so thrilled! In October, Chelsea flew to Texas to spend time with the family. She made a photo book for the family to read announcing that Baby Chapman is coming April 2019! Screams of shock and delight and tears of joy filled the living room that day. Piper, Chelsea's younger sister, was happy to realize the baby is due only 4 days after her birthday. We video chatted with her younger brothers Peter and Chandler in Utah and Chelsea told them they would be uncles soon--they had the biggest smiles on their faces. Chelsea visited her Nana and Grandpa and asked Grandpa if he had any extra cookies because she's "eating for two now." They were overjoyed with the news! Also in October, James called his parents to tell them they are going to be grandparents! A group text to all of James' siblings went out with the sonogram photo and they are all so excited to be aunts and uncles! On November 15, James and Chelsea posted their pregnancy announcement on social media to share the news with the rest of their friends and family. Chelsea's good friend Brittany Wood took their pregnancy announcement photos and did a beautiful job. These same photos were on their Christmas card as well. So much joy is evident on their faces. They are so excited to be parents!
James and Chelsea in Rockport, MA, the day they found out about the pregnancy. Chelsea was 4 weeks pregnant.
The 9 week sonogram photo was shared with family when Chelsea was between 12-13 weeks pregnant.
These photos were taken by Brittany at the end of October but they announced on social media mid November before Thanksgiving.

*2nd Trimester baby "flutters"
* 3rd Trimester voice changing, lowering in pitch due to hormones and the uterus pressing on the diaphragm. Her voice sounds lower, almost like she is sick with a sore throat. She is a first soprano singer but now her voice squeaks when she tries to sing "normal" high notes.

If you submitted answers to the baby predictions, please put your name! We forgot to include a spot for you to put your name, so the first 8 responses we do not know who you are and whose predictions & advice was given! Now there is a spot to fill out your name. For those who already submitted the form, please go back and edit your form and add your name, or comment here with your advice so we know which person filled out which form. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!
Good luck Chels! Good luck James! I hope Nala doesn't eat the baby, but maybe growing up beside Nala will teach the baby to be tough idk. I know you you guys will love, teach, and protect this baby with everything you've got. (And you have a lot) (Plus, the Lord is on your side) You've waited long enough. Go enjoy! Your families will be with you every step of the way as well. Love, Pi
